Principal's Message

Jason Kaylor
With just a few weeks left in the school year, I want to thank our entire community for supporting our students through this unusual year. Now is the time to press hard and finish strong. We have just a few weeks of school before finals, so students must work diligently to finish the semester successfully.

Final progress reports have been mailed home, and it is imperative that all students and parents use that information to assess progress in each class. Also, continue to monitor Canvas and Parent Square to communicate with teachers and counselors if you have any concerns. This is especially crucial for senior students as graduation is right around the corner, and we want to see all our seniors at our commencement ceremony in Alta Loma’s Uhalley Stadium on Thursday, May 25th. Please see the comprehensive Commencement Guide on our website for more graduation details: www.alhs.cjuhsd.net.

Parents can continue to help their students by reviewing their student’s progress each day and by ensuring that homework is complete. Also, please help by making sure your student is attending every class, every day. In addition, some students are taking online classes needed for graduation and/or college admissions. They must complete those by May 18th.

We encourage all students to take advantage of PAPER – a FREE online tutor 24/7. Just follow these three easy steps:

To login, students should:
1. visit app.paper.co
2. Select their school in the search bar.
3. Enter their school email address and password. May 22nd -25th – Finals Week

Finally, I would like to extend my gratitude to the Alta Loma community for entrusting me with the care of Alta Loma High School this year. ALHS is an amazing school, and I am proud of all that our students, staff, parents, and community have accomplished.

FINISH STRONG!

Proud to be a Brave,
