Principal's Message

Jason Kaylor
Braves,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. As we prepare for the upcoming return to campus, I challenge every student to strive for their personal best in all areas of studies. We look forward to welcoming our incoming 9th graders, the Class of 2028. We know that we have many students who will be coming to campus for the first time, and we can’t wait for them to enjoy our beautiful facilities. Expect to see staff and student leaders from Band, ASB, BSA, Cheer, Dance, Link Crew, and more out in front of the school as we kick off the school year and welcome the Braves back on campus.

Please look for your summer mailer through the US postal service to arrive no later than July 16. Please read all the documents enclosed, and make sure that all the forms in the registration packet are completed and bring them to turn in on registration/schedule pick-up day. Students will begin to report the last week of July for Schedule pick up. For parents/guardians of 9th graders, we invite you to attend our Brave Freshmen Parent Orientation. This presentation will take place on the same day as your student’s schedule pick-up and focus on how to help your student become academically successful in high school and beyond.

Parents and guardians, your role in your student’s development is a huge part of their success. Your involvement helps to build a healthy partnership with the school. If you would like to do even more, please reach out to Dr. Adam Stites, AP of Achievement, for parent engagement opportunities throughout the year.

Parents and Guardians should reach out to the Guidance office if they need assistance with creating a Parent Square account. This is the main way our school communicates with parents/guardians.

Please take note of these important upcoming dates:

Wednesday, August 7th First day of school

Monday, August 12th Back to School Night - 5:45pm

Tuesday, August 13th Minimum Day Schedule

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Go Braves!
