Principal's Message

Alta Loma Lions we are almost at the finish line! Parents, we thank you for all of your efforts and we ask that you please encourage our Lions to finish strong. We have just a few weeks of school before finals and we need our students to finish the semester successfully.
It is extremely important that students and parents monitor academic progress in all classes using Canvas and Parent Square. Parents and students can communicate with teachers and counselors if you have any concerns. This is especially crucial for senior students as graduation is right around the corner, and we want to see all our seniors at our commencement ceremonies in Alta Loma’s Uhalley Stadium on Thursday, May 21st. Please see the comprehensive Commencement Guide on our website for more graduation details: www.alhs.cjuhsd.net.
Parents can continue to help their students by reviewing their students’ progress each day and by ensuring that homework is complete. Please help by making sure your student is attending every class, every day. In addition, if your student is taking online classes needed for graduation and/or college admissions know that all content must be completed by May 15th, 2026.
Finals Week is May 19th – May 21st
· Tuesday May 19th - Periods 4 & 5
· Wednesday May 20th - Periods 2 & 6
· Thursday May 21st - Periods 1 & 7
· NO SCHOOL FRIDAY
*Students in a 0 period, see 0 period teacher for finals information.
This year we will offer Summer School from: May 27th-June 25th. Summer Registration has started and parents should contact their student’s counselor if they have questions.
Alta Loma community and family this school year has moved so fast and has been filled with so many great moments. Thank you for the trust and support that you have given to make this year special.
